Tony, Director
Tony is the main man at Millbanks, but he’s far too modest to say that.He took over the agency back in 1994, having already spent ten years working in the estate agency world.
He started as an office junior with a goal to drive a shiny, new company Ford Escort.
Fast forward four decades, and now he is the driving force behind much of what we do here. During his time at Millbanks he’s experienced an office fire and a flood, but his focus is always firmly on the future.
Tony said: “I’ve always wanted Millbanks to improve every year and give our clients the best possible service.
“It’s why we’ve invested heavily over in the years in training our team, our infrastructure and anything we feel benefits our clients.
Tony is a lifelong Norwich City fan, having made his Carrow Road debut as a youngster in the mid-1970s when his dad took him to matches.
He’s also a very keen runner and is the Chairman of Wymondham Athletics Club.
Tony’s top tip for homeowners thinking of selling: Don’t go with cheap fee agencies if you value good service and your sanity. You may save a few hundred pounds, but it can leave you thousands of pounds out of pocket due to not always getting you the best possible price for your property.
Tony’s top tip for landlords: You must keep on top of legislation. There are so many rules and regulations that you need to be aware of. If you’re not, the consequences can be severe, so it’s a good idea to use a letting agent who knows the constantly changing rules. Also, when maintenance issues present themselves act quickly to get the jobs done as soon as possible. This keeps the tenant happy because as we like to say to our landlords ‘it’s their home in your hands.’
