Meet the Team

Meet our Team

Tony is the main man at Millbanks, but he’s far too modest to say that.
He took over the agency back in 1994, having already spent ten years working in the estate agency world.
He started as an office junior with a goal to drive a shiny, new company Ford Escort.
Fast forward four decades, and now he is the driving force behind much of what we do here. During his time at Millbanks he’s experienced an office fire and a flood, but his focus is always firmly on the future.
Tony said: “I’ve always wanted Millbanks to improve every year and give our clients the best possible service.
“It’s why we’ve invested heavily over in the years in training our team, our infrastructure and anything we feel benefits our clients.
Tony is a lifelong Norwich City fan, having made his Carrow Road debut as a youngster in the mid-1970s when his dad took him to matches.
He’s also a very keen runner and is the Chairman of Wymondham Athletics Club.
Tony’s top tip for homeowners thinking of selling: Don’t go with cheap fee agencies if you value good service and your sanity. You may save a few hundred pounds, but it can leave you thousands of pounds out of pocket due to not always getting you the best possible price for your property.
Tony’s top tip for landlords: You must keep on top of legislation. There are so many rules and regulations that you need to be aware of. If you’re not, the consequences can be severe, so it’s a good idea to use a letting agent who knows the constantly changing rules. Also, when maintenance issues present themselves act quickly to get the jobs done as soon as possible. This keeps the tenant happy because as we like to say to our landlords ‘it’s their home in your hands.’

Donna’s our Residential Sales Manager and a whole lot more.
She’s been an estate agent since 1996 and still has an infectious enthusiasm and passion for all things property.
Donna is hard-working, helpful, and super competitive in everything she does.
She explained how she’s managed to maintain her love of selling homes more than 25 years after selling her first one. She said: “I love helping people move on to the next chapter of their lives, and I see my role as a privilege helping our clients make such an important step.
“I’ve been with Millbanks since 2012, and it’s a great team to be a part of. I love driving my team on to get the best possible results for our clients.
“I’ve seen huge changes to the way estate agents work over the years, but one thing doesn’t change, and that’s the importance of looking after your clients and acting with their best interests at heart.”
A mother of two, can-do Donna loves keeping fit, and spending time with her family.
Donna’s top tip for homeowners thinking of selling: When it comes to agents offering cheap fees, beware. They can often end up being the most expensive option because they tend to cut corners on the service clients deserve.

Martin has been a key part of our team since 2019. His exceptional people skills were honed during many years in customer service.
Martin’s passionate about doing things right and making clients feel special.
He said: “There’s never a one size fits all when it comes to helping people sell their homes. When we’re marketing a property, we know how important it is to address all the small details and pay attention to them. That’s why we take the time a bespoke marketing plan designed to get our clients the best possible price for their property.
“I enjoy the competitive nature of estate agency, but my favourite part of the job is helping clients sell successfully. I love the sense of satisfaction in knowing I’ve done a good job for my clients and played a small part in helping them move on successfully.”
He’s a family man with two young daughters, is a keen runner and has a number of pets which his favourite is his dog Chester.
Martin’s top tip for homeowners thinking of selling: Do your research when choosing an agent to sell your home. You want someone who will take any stresses off your shoulders and listen more than they speak.

Jade has been an essential part of our team since 2018. She started off in an admin role and quickly worked her way up to become a Sales Negotiator.
Her likeable personality, commitment and determination mean she's ideal for the role.
By building great relationships with our clients and being a skilful negotiator, she gets them the best prices possible for their property.
Jade said: "I love what I do and the team I work with. I also help out with sales progression and enjoy playing an important part in helping people move and begin new chapters of their lives."
Jade's top tip for homeowners thinking of selling: The way you present your property is the key to unlocking its potential. So, declutter and make it as easy on the eye to viewers as possible.

Amy started with us in 2021 and has become a popular member of our team, diving straight into helping clients.
And that’s no surprise to us as she is a former professional swimmer.
Amy is our dedicated sales progressor, and her job is to ensure our clients get their sales completed successfully.
She explained more about her role and background. She said: “I have always wanted to work in the property industry, so I jumped at the chance to join Millbanks.
“I love what I do as there’s always a different challenge to overcome and a great sense of satisfaction when contracts are exchanged.
“Anything can happen during a property sale, but because I’m a dedicated sales progressor, it means we’re ready for it.
“I’ve lived in Attleborough for 25 years, and it’s a lovely little town with friendly people.”
When Amy isn’t doing the things that need to get done for our clients, she enjoys socialising with her friends and looking after her cat Milo.
Amy’s top tip for homeowners thinking of selling: Not all agencies are created equally, so do your research before instructing one to work on your behalf. Always look for recommendations.

Demi is one of our Residential Lettings Co-ordinators and leads our team of experts looking after landlords and tenants. She lives in Attleborough and has been helping our landlords and tenants since 2019.
Demi is highly motivated with a good sense of humour and is a pleasure to have in the office.
She explained her approach to looking after our clients. She said: “I like making sure things get done correctly. This applies to everything I do but especially my work with landlords and tenants.
“We make a point of contacting our landlords at least once a month to check that everything is going ok and to see if there’s anything we can help them with.
“This helps builds relationships with them.
Talking of relationships, Demi says she feels lucky to work with colleagues with who she gets on very well.
And we feel lucky to have her, and not just because Demi is the best tea maker in our office. She even won a trophy for it presented to her by Millbanks’ owner Tony.
Demi’s top tip for landlords: Keep the décor of your property neutral and up to date. Tenants nowadays want properties that are modern and easy on the eye.

Demi Residential Lettings Coordinator

Georgie joined us in 2020 and has seven years of experience working as a residential lettings coordinator.
Her friendly and approachable personality makes her popular with our landlords and tenants and her colleagues in the office.
She said: "Millbanks is a great place to work as our team are all focussed on looking after our clients.
"I love the lettings side of agency work as there are daily new challenges. The biggest thing we always need to deal with and get up to date with is the constantly changing legislation that affects rental properties.
"I see a big part of my role as keeping my landlords on the right side of that regulatory fence as the consequences for getting it wrong can be severe for them."
Away from providing expert protection for our landlords' portfolios, Georgie’s a busy mum of one, with two cats, a gerbil and she loves socialising and good food.
Georgie's top tip for landlords: Beware of trying to do it all yourself. There are so many rules and regulations you can get caught out by.

Georgie Residential Lettings Coordinator

Sharon joined us in 2019 and very quickly became a popular member of Team Millbanks.
She plays the vital role of making sure everything to do with our sales and lettings is organised. That includes keeping tabs on all the relevant paperwork and making sure all the right boxes are ticked.
She's lived in Attleborough for 21 years and always brings a lot of pride, passion and care to our office.
She said: "I love it here. We have a great team, a very fair boss, and a lively office environment.
"As one of the team's older members, my advice is often sought by my young colleagues. Helping them and our clients is something I really enjoy."
Sharon has a never-ending in-tray but uses her organisational skills and positive attitude to keep on top of everything.
As many parents will relate to, Sharon spends a lot of her 'spare time' being a Mum Taxi to her two children. However, when those duties are done, Sharon enjoys running."
Sharon's top tip for homeowners thinking of selling: Selling your home is a big step, so be 100 per cent sure that it's what you really want to do.

Sharon Office Administrator

Lynne has been with us since 2013 and began in her estate agency career in 2002.
She’s worked in many agency roles, including being a lettings manager, negotiator and sales progressor before retiring in 2019.
Or did she?
Lynne’s love of all things people and property have drawn her back to Millbanks as one of our Saturday Viewings Specialist.
She’s friendly and organised as she needs to juggle keys, people’s expectations and timings to achieve a good viewing experience for all her clients.
She said: “I’ve always seen working in estate agency as a fun job. I love the variety and how busy it always is. The best part of my role is seeing people’s faces light up when they see their ideal property and its potential to be their new home.”
Lynne makes the most of her ‘retirement’ by playing golf, bridge and staying very active.
Lynne’s top tip for homeowners thinking of selling: People viewing your property can get easily distracted by clutter – so, use the time before your home goes on the market to declutter as much as you can.

Lynne Viewing Assistant

Adam is our in-house independent mortgage and protection adviser.
His role is to help people find the best mortgages and have in place the correct level of protection for their families.
Adam said: “The mortgage world constantly changes, so it’s always a challenge to stay on top of what’s available and provide clients with the best possible service and guidance.
“I get enormous satisfaction out of playing a part in helping people get the home they desire and also the peace of mind of knowing they have the right insurances in place.”
Talking of ‘playing’, Adam played professionally for Norwich City Football Club and went on to have a successful career in non-league.
He’s since swapped his boots for his running shoes and has raised more than £15,000 doing charity runs for Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital.
He also loves spending time with his wife and young family.
Adam’s top tip for homeowners thinking of buying or selling: Speak to a mortgage and protection broker as soon as possible. This will give you time to see how much you can lend, the criteria you need to meet, and the realistic budget you have available.

Adam In house Independent Mortgage and Protection Adviser

Karen has been involved in estate agency in one way or another over the past thirty years. She’s been with us since 2018 and is one of our viewings’ specialists.
And one thing you’re guaranteed to get when Karen is showcasing your home is enthusiasm.
She said: “I’ve always been fascinated by property. And I love meeting new people, so being in a role where I’m seeing all kinds of homes and meeting many new people is the best job in the world for me.
“I love being part of the team here at Millbanks. We’re a close-knit, friendly bunch who take pride in what we do.” And we love her in return for her chatty, relaxed, and honest personality.
Karen loves to relax by spending time with her family and gardening.
Karen’s top tip for homeowners thinking of selling: People buy homes with their senses. Sight is one of them, but don’t overlook smell. Dogs, cats, and even certain types of cooking can create smells prospective buyers might find off-putting, so consider air fresheners and opening windows and doors before viewings.
